Checking the fit
Compare the shape and size of the mats with the floor area before installation. This listing does not establish a vehicle-specific fit. Check the driver’s footwell particularly carefully: the mat must lie flat and remain clear of the accelerator, brake and clutch pedals throughout their travel.
Remove an existing loose mat before fitting the replacement. Do not stack mats in the driver’s footwell. Confirm that any vehicle retention system can be used appropriately with the selected mat. Nib backing does not replace the need to check secure placement and pedal clearance.
Preparing the interior
Vacuum the floor and remove loose grit before positioning the mats. Check under seats and along edges for material that could prevent a mat from lying flat. Place each mat in the appropriate floor area and inspect the edges for folding, bunching or interference.
Ongoing care
Remove loose debris regularly and choose a cleaning method suitable for carpet floor mats. Follow the instructions for any cleaner used, including directions for residue removal and drying. Allow cleaned mats to dry before returning them to the vehicle.
Recheck placement after cleaning and during normal use. Stop using a mat if it shifts, curls or obstructs a pedal. Inspect the driver’s heel area for wear and make sure the mat remains in suitable condition. Check fit again whenever the mats are transferred to another vehicle.
